Today is an extra special day! Welcome to Lee's blog hop!
Today is my friend Lee's birthday and some of her "posse" have gotten together to celebrate her with a blog hop!
There is so much that I can say about Lee that I really don't know where to start. I guess I can start with the fact that I am very lucky to have been able to know Lee. She is one of the sweetest, truest people I know. Lee's creativity is a constant inspiration to me and I know to others as well. Lee is always ready with a smile or a smilie, as the case may be. Suffice it to say that Lee is a very special person and I am thrilled that I can help celebrate her on her "YOU" day!
For Lee's birthday card, I tried to incorporate many of the things that Lee loves. We start with some Gina K Pure Luxury cardstock, add in some glitter, copics, bling and pink... then we finish off with a fairy. Whew.. that was a little on the difficult side.. LOL. Lastly, please work with me here... that IS a birthday candle ;-)
Lee, I truly hope that your birthday is as terrific as you are. May all your wishes come true! Enjoy your hop on your day :-) MWAH!
Thanks for stopping by and please make sure that you stop by the rest of the blogs below for some more tributes to Lee and some incredible crafting!!

A little Valentine's Day
I thought this was a cute Penny Black image. The challenge was to make a Valentine card with a little humor. For me? With all the stamps I own? I could NOT come up with any humorous Valentine's sentiments. Obviously a gap I need to fill :-) Enter my fabulous peeps at WRAK. I received this "feline" sentiment through WRAK. I think it's humorous... but it may just be me! Thanks for visiting today.

Critter Creative
Happy Wednesday! Today's card combines 2 challenges, Our Creative Corner
and the Critter Sketch Challenge. The Critter challenge for this week is sposored by Limelight Papercrafts. The challenge was to use stripes and the color red. The challenge for Our Creative Corner was a sketch this week! Wheeeeee!

I broke out my Penny Black stamps, which I haven't worked with in awhile. I also took a little break from Christmas cards.. The image is popped up on dimensionals, other than that, it's all layers.. easy peasy!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Rainin' Daisies (Penny Black); Northwoods sentiment
Paper: White, Red Hot (Gina K); DP is unknown.. found it in my stash
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Ribbon, Chocolate Pearls, Nesties, Copics

Valentine
A friend of mine is collecting Valentine's Day cards for a Childrens Hospital. They will be given cards so that they can hand them out. These are the two designs I came up with. I am sending 10 of each.. They are verrrrrrrryyyyy simple.

I used the hearts CB embossing folder and two ADORABLE Penny Black stamps, Via Post and Tender Hearts. The images were all colored with my Stampin' Up markers. I'm not thoroughly happy with the bright pink color... but worked with what I had handy at the time. I sure do hope the kids enjoy them.
