CardPatterns 79 - Thinking of You

This card was created using the sketch from the cardpatterns blog. It is Sketch #79. I also used this as practice for the Copic Challenge. The copic challenge for this 2 week period is to use blues and color blue jeans. I know I need to practice a bit before I submit my entry for that one ;-) So, the attempt here is to have the light source coming from the top left. I used the "nasty rag" technique on Mimosa's jeans to add a little texture. I'm really trying to make an effort at showing the shading. I've decided, while taking these copic classes, that I am afraid of shading. I try to really blend so the effect is sort of blurred (so you can't see my mistakes). I'm trying to be very mindful of this. We'll see how this works. Thanks for visiting!

Recipe:
Stamps: Bildmalarna Mimosa, Warmest Regards (SU)
Paper: Little Boy Blue, Kraft, White (Gina K)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Summer Sky
Accessories: Organdy Ribbon, Copics, Chocolate Pearls
